01 — Scope of this policy
What this policy covers — and what it doesn't.
This privacy policy applies to information collected through our marketing website (incentivepartner.tax), operated by Incentive Partner LLC ("we", "us", "our"), and to direct communications you send to our team — by email, by scheduling a demo, or otherwise.
This policy does not govern information your firm or its clients share with our software platform during an active engagement. That information is handled under the terms of your firm's Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Incentive Partner.
02 — What we collect
We collect as little as we can, and only what you give us.
Specifically:
- From demo bookings. Your name, email address, and the time you select. The booking interface is provided by Calendly; we receive the resulting calendar invite and contact details.
- From email correspondence. Whatever you choose to share when you write to us (e.g., contact@incentivepartner.tax).
- From browsing the site. Standard server-level information that web hosts log (IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps), plus aggregate usage analytics collected through Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate (city-level) location derived from an anonymized IP address, and how you reached the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to measure this.
That's the full list. We don't ask for, infer, or derive more than that from your interaction with the site.
03 — How we use it
To answer you, hold the demo, and follow up if you want us to.
- Respond to your inquiry
- Hold the demo we scheduled with you
- Follow up about Incentive Partner if you've asked us to
- Improve the site over time, based on aggregate, non-identifying patterns
We do not use information from this site to train AI models, sell to third parties, or target advertising.
04 — Who else has access
A short list of service providers — and that's it.
To run a website and respond to you, we work with a small number of service providers who have technical access to the information you share. We choose providers carefully and limit access to what each one needs.
- Netlify — hosts this website and sees standard web-server logs.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC) — provides aggregate website analytics; sets cookies and processes usage data (including an anonymized IP address) so we can see how the site is used.
- Calendly — provides the demo-scheduling interface and stores booking details (name, email, selected time).
- Google Workspace — handles inbound and outbound email through our team accounts (
contact@, help@); stores message content.
- Zoho ZeptoMail — handles transactional email originating from our systems (such as automated notifications); sees the recipient address and message content of outbound transactional mail.
We do not sell, rent, or share information collected through this site with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
05 — Where data lives
Within the United States.
Information collected through this site is stored within the United States by the providers listed above. If a provider's infrastructure changes, we'll update this policy.
06 — How long we keep it
Only as long as it's useful.
- Demo booking records: kept while the conversation is active, plus a reasonable period for record-keeping.
- Email correspondence: kept while the conversation is active and for ordinary record-keeping thereafter.
- Web-server logs: retained at provider defaults (Netlify currently retains these for a short rolling window).
You can request deletion of your information by emailing us — see the contact section below.
07 — Your rights
Access, correction, deletion — by request.
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you
- Correct anything that's inaccurate
- Delete what we have
If you're a resident of California, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific data-protection laws, you may have additional rights under those laws — including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (which we don't do anyway, anywhere). Email us at contact@incentivepartner.tax to exercise any such right.
We don't discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.
08 — Cookies and tracking
Analytics cookies — and nothing beyond that.
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use it. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects aggregate usage data — pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate (city-level) location from an anonymized IP address, and the path you take through the site. We use this only in aggregate, to improve the site.
We do not use it to identify you personally, to advertise to you, or to sell your information. You can opt out of Google Analytics across every site with Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Beyond analytics, we use no web beacons, fingerprinting, or third-party advertising trackers.
09 — Children
Not directed at children.
This site is intended for accounting professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16, where applicable). If we learn that we've inadvertently received information from a child, we'll delete it.
10 — Updates to this policy
We'll update as practices change.
The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we change this policy in a material way, we'll do our best to bring it to your attention through the site or, where appropriate, by direct notice.
